Roots run deep at Acadia, and we are proud of our diverse and extensive family tree. It has many branches, full of people who are committed to making a difference. Our alumni develop and refine academic and life skills during their time as students and then emerge, ready to take on the world after graduation, fully equipped to effect change as civic and community leaders.

All members of our alumni family have benefited from the rich and inclusive liberal arts education that is the hallmark of Acadia’s fine academics experience. The Acadia Alumni Association supports students during their time at Acadia and beyond, and encourages members of our outstanding community to stay in touch.

From the moment you decide to attend Acadia University to graduation and beyond, one thing is clear: you’re family.

Virtual Homecoming 2020 was new, different and a fantastic way for alumni to come together amidst a global pandemic.  We didn’t “come home” to campus on Oct. 17-18, but alumni far and wide certainly celebrated, enjoying a full schedule of events online and sharing backyard or Zoom gatherings that truly represented the Acadia spirit!

Members of the Acadia alumni community have written messages of support and encouragement to the Class of 2020.

Alumna Emily Drake (’06) found her passion for health research at Acadia University, and her love of scientific inquiry spurred an interest in cancer research.
