Virtual Homecoming 2020 was new, different and a fantastic way for alumni to come together amidst a global pandemic.  We didn’t “come home” to campus on Oct. 17-18, but alumni far and wide certainly celebrated, enjoying a full schedule of events online and sharing backyard or Zoom gatherings that truly represented the Acadia spirit!

Members of the Acadia alumni community have written messages of support and encouragement to the Class of 2020.

Alumna Emily Drake (’06) found her passion for health research at Acadia University, and her love of scientific inquiry spurred an interest in cancer research.

The Acadia Alumni Association is proud to announce that Geoff Irvine (’87) is this year’s recipient of the Acadia Alumni Isaac Chipman Award for Excellence in Alumni Service.

When Julia Whidden (’13, ’15) attended Acadia University, she had no idea how much her experience would inform the work she now does for Terranaut Club in Nova Scotia.

If anyone at Acadia epitomizes the term, ‘university service’, it’s Cheryl. Currently Administrative Manager, Dean of Arts, Cheryl has devoted herself to the University for more than 40 years in a variety of different positions and capacities, greeting the public, alumni, students, faculty and staff with consistent kindness and professionalism.
